The product record is the starting point for managing sales and stock. A well-filled product is easy to find and invoices without errors.
Create a product
- Open the Inventory (or Sales) menu, the Products section.
- Click Create and give the product a clear name.
- Indicate whether it is a storable product, a consumable or a service.
- Enter the sale price, the purchase price and the applicable VAT.
Tip: use short, consistent references (for example by product family). Stock tracking will be all the simpler.
Only storable products are quantity-tracked. Services do not generate any stock movement.
